“The project is very important for the donor, the donor who gives voluntary, non-remunerated blood or tissue. The donor can become a donor when is healthy, and we have to be sure that there is no risk for the recipient. This is about the risk assessment of the donor, but not only that, it is very important for the donor that when he or she gives blood or tissues this is done safely. For a new perspective we are much more aware that donor safety is something that we have to go into.”
