WP4 – Inventory of donor selection & protection practices

The main goal of this WP is to have a clear picture of the similarities and differences across European countries and across SoHO types pertaining to the current practices in donor selection and protection. An exhaustive report will be produced on the basis of the information and the data collected through qualitative interviews and a quantitative questionnaire.

Emanuele Angelantonio

Professor Emanuele Di Angelantonio is Director of the NIHR Blood and Transplant Research Unit in Donor Health and Genomics in Cambridge, and Deputy Director of the Cardiovascular Epidemiology Unit in the Department of Public Health at the University of Cambridge. He is Principal Investigator in Donor Health Research and Honorary Consultant for NHSBT, and recently was appointed the inaugural NHSBT Professor of Donor Health.
